I did go through my invoices I have stored on my laptop last week and my starting and ending odometer for the year and I did a total of 102,000 miles and brought in a little less than $160,000. That was all miles for everything.

I'm not a good example of what you could do. I tend to take more time off than most people would. I also tend to take the rest of the day off when I drop a load off first thing in the morning instead of loading back up again.

For the past few months I've been averaging more than $1.80 per mile.

I can't say if there is a slow down because to tell you the truth, I don't see any real way of telling that other than listening to someone spout off because they don't have a load at the moment. I've been running OK this winter and last winter just fine. Right now is the slowest I've ever had it but that's because I headed to that sink hole NM. Other than that, it's been good and no complaints.

I've been dealing with mostly long haul loads and after I head back home this time for a break I'm going to try shorter loads at more per mile and see how it goes. Not sure I'll like it since I'll be unloading and loading in the same day but I'll give it a try.

Sounds tempting. I could make like $1,200 per week doing that. Sounds too good to be true. I think I need to look at my truckers calculator for a problem. The Tequila is the real golden handcuffs though!!!

And the clean clear taste of Molson Canadian.

You could do 3 a week loading Monday, Thurs and Sat.
Reloads are likely steel or machinery out of Phillie, Wilmington or Baltimore.

But there's that little problem of no step deck. Your thread has been boring lately. You need to buy a new trailer to spice it up.
