Cat eyes where did you get them?

Where did you guys get the cat eyes? I want to get some but an internet search turns up little.

They can be found at some truck stops, some truck dealerships, on eBay from time to time, or you can go to their website to get a dealer list.

You might want to also check out Crossfires. They are similar to Cat's Eyes, except they have a braided steel hose (instead of the rubber one that Cat's Eyes use), and they will idicate overinflation as well as underinflation (which the Cat's Eye doesn't do).

Thanks Rev I like that more.

I have crossfires on all my wheels. I got them from IOWA80. Another note on air. If you buy one of those hoses to fill your own tires go to Walmart and buy a new end for the hose that has a handle that locks onto the valve stem so you don't have to stand there holding it on.

Cool, I'm calling the cross fires guy right now.

Doghouse 06-15-2007 02:10 AM

I called them and they want to know what my PSI range is. On my tires it says max 110 psi,...what pressure do you guys use?

06-15-2007 04:26 AM

I bought 100's. Not sure why, someone told me too. I think Rev did.

On duals most companies run 100 psi on steers I ran 105 psi.

Rev.Vassago 06-15-2007 12:27 PM

Most standard size truck tires are at 100psi-105 psi. You should know what you fill your tires to anyway. If you don't, then you have a bigger problem.

Doghouse 06-15-2007 01:49 PM

sure, but when you tire says 110psi cold, I tend to go with the maker, unless there is something I don't know about what psi to really run with.
