I'm going to have to blame the delay on my girl, she is a perfectionist when it comes to graphic design, and she's been on the logo for a week now

The loaders and sorters don't really give a crap about stuff. Most UPS drivers like what they do (don't tell management), but we are held to very tight time schedules and we rush. Wish I could spend more time, but I would never get home.

Love your posts. Very interesting.

Hey Brown,
Looking back on how many packages I've had delivered by UPS, and it seems as though UPS is pretty good most of the time,...but when its bad,...its real bad!!
Then theres a little thing the loaders take pride in,....I think its the name "package smasher" or something like that,.....I remember working for a furniture store in Florida for a year, and I would get to a stop to find a broken mirror, or busted off table leg,..not my fault, but I was the first one on the scene,....so the customer always blamed me.

Your right. Shouldn't blame the loaders too much. UPS will just load up a belt with boxes and jam it down the loaders throats. They just start throwing stuff around trying to keep up. Sometimes it does get bad though. No excuse really. Managers do push production, production, production.

I'll join the crowd. Where are the pictures? :D

What a crummy day,
I had to gut the whole shotgun side in the sleeper including the roof area around the A/C unit. The condensation drip hole was plugged up on that side and the water ran in between the walls all night.
Thats the single most common problem with the roof mount A/C, I thought the RV place had tested it, but it turns out that where I have it parked, the water runs to that side of the unit,....Damn, I could kick myself for not paying attention. I should have noticed the lack of water coming off the roof last night when I went into the house.

Man that sucks. The rate you are going you bought a hobby not a job  .. Good Luck getting that fixed.

Doghouse 07-20-2007 12:22 AM

Thats why I'm testing all of it at home,....if this happened on the road, I would have been screwed. The truck A/C works good ,but I would have to idle my engine for it.
I got all the water dried out, and I'm putting the sleeper back together today. I'm just real glad it was that side, and not the side with the shower/refer/sink/micro/stove/toilet.
