Does Sirius know I drive a truck?
 

I just got Sirius radio for my truck and 90% of the commercials are directed at truck drivers. I'm wondering if these commercials are custom for me and if so, how do they know I drive a truck? I make it a point to never fill out anything about myself when signing up for something. These commercials are all on CNN which I listen to mostly.

Same with XM. I bought a 'Roady II' at a Petro, I just figured between the two they have me singled out for targeted marketing. Does kind of make you want to quit what you are doing and go work for JB Hunt, doesn't it? :lol:

Ya know, I just realized something. I bought my Sirius at a truck stop and given that, the unit could select a different set of commercials tailored for truck drivers.

yes it knows you drive a truck. it also knows the year, make and model as well as the color. "they" are watching and following you.....be carfeul!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Is that how it knows? I was just thinking the other day "I wonder what a new job would be like?" and all of a sudden Jb Hunt, Crete and Marten commercials came on within 10 minutes. Spooky.

see, "they" know...........ever since I got this new ball cap I have been seeing things more clearly :shock: , the foil on the inside lining can be a little unconfortable at times though :lol:

I know, it's scary how they know stuff. I shut the radio off after a Viagra commercial. Those bastards.

Fallen and can't get it up? Know what you mean. The adult incontinence commercials are messing with my head. :lol:

I was not aware that they had a Black Helicopter channel. :D

I''ll pick up a receiver; but given that there is talk of a merger/buyout I'm waiting to see if it happens and I get both XM and Sirius for the price of one.

I think there is a tiny camera in the receiver. Solo, you guys that mess with the lizards, do you get a lot of condom ads on your satelite radio?
