The profits of the trucking companies are going to skyrocket with Mexican drivers taking our loads. The companies have paid Washington lobbyists millions already to make sure it's in the bag.

And according to the Washington Times article (see classadrivers.com O/O topic on Mexicans on Interstates) - it's a done deal.

Only MASS PROTESTS will stop this now. It's not only the jobs of all us poor suckers who have tried to get into this industry while they've been crying "No Drivers Left!" -- it's the people who are going to be killed on the highways when these Aztlan guys are behind the wheel.

The Teamsters Union tried to expose this last summer; I found their magazine article from August 2006 on Google. No, I am not a Teamster.

In fact, I'm a rookie driver, who was SHOCKED at the working conditions, especially for trainees stuck in a cab for 3-5 months -- to learn how to really master their skills? NO! To be sleepless and over-hours while the Trainer puts more money in his/her pocket.

Yes, I had two real jobs. I won't name the companies, but I was employed out of Fort Worth in December, and with another company out of Omaha in January.

Then, I caught bronchitis from a chronically sick gal trainer, and went home. Maybe it was a good thing.

The president of Celadon is quoted in that link ON PAGES 8 AND 9 of the newsletter, in article entitled "Immigration Reform May Cost American Jobs" by Rick Murray.

That link was sent to me in the thread of the O/O classadrivers posting I started on MEXICANS ON THE INTERSTATES.

In one day, there were three pages of responses.

Well done on getting the word out on Celadon! These Celadon guys are nothing but traitors and profiteers!

I am in communication w/ Rick Murray and I can tell you his sources for that article are impeccable These carriers are planning to sell us all out "Down the River"!

And your right about the MASS PROTESTS. I fear that is the only way to stop this?

With all this talk about Mexica drivers, we need to look at Polish drivers. I see more of them that can't speak English running the roads. Its about all immigrants that will work cheaper than the rest thats cutting into the America.
