Financing for Truck and trailer

Is it possable to get a Tractor and trailer financed together in one loan? I am looking to purchace both for around 32,000$ combined. I have a good credit score but I am just starting out as an o/o. I would like to put down 3 or 4k. IS this feasable and can anyone recomend any companys? Thanks

If you have a good relationship with your banker, I would start with them. You can usually get better terms with someone you have had a long standing relationship. A down payment of 20-30% is the norm. A good credit score and a few years experience could make a difference. Keep in mind that you will also need to get insurance prior to closing the loan. If you plan on leasing to a carrier, some lenders will ask to see a copy of your lease.

Bumper to bumper setup for 32K might nickle and dime you in maintenance and repairs, but there are plenty of good deals to be found as well :)

TransAdvantage might be able to help

Try hard to find you own financing. If you are dealing with a dealer whom is not associated with the Major's, the terms of loans (%) can stick you in the pocket book hard. Especially on used equipment.

Been there, wish I hadn't done that.
