o/o leasing to flatbed company??

anyone have any suggestions for flatbed companies to lease to??

truck will most likley be a 2000 and I have 20+ years flatbed exp. I need to find a comapny to lease to till i can buy my own trailer and get my hauling rights....I am taking GMANS advice about having money in the bank!!

I have all the equipment I need already except trailer. I prefer to pull stepdecks....but flat is OK too.

anyone have any suggestions for me??

I am glad you will have money set aside, tootie04. CRST Malone, Landstar, Mercer and Jones all have flatbeds. All pay percentage. I am not sure about Mercer and Jones, but you can rent a trailer from Landstar and CRST Malone. It should run you about $165/week.

Landstar wont work (no hazmat)

CRST malone wont work due to DH pulled for an O/O who was leased to them and then wouldnt pay him so we were involed in a lawsuit with them and they wont consider hiring him now....

Mercer is a possibility anyone pulling for them?

How about diamond transport out of MI??

Mercer has pretty good freight depending on where your at. I'm not sure about the trailer part though.

What about TMC? I see that they have a O/O fleet. Does anyone know how good their O/O's do?

truck will be to old for TMC.

ATS has flats, steps, etc. I don't know much about their owner operator program. I don't think you need a trailer if you lease to them. Another one is Lisa out of Texas.
