What are the locations to find Car Hauling loads?

I am new to the business of auto transporting. I have many years experience in the tow truck industry and as a mechanic/shop manager. I just really started my wheels turning back in July. I am in this for the long haul......if I keep the $$$ coming in.

I have been using Central Dispatch most of the time to find loads. Just from life experience I don't like depending on 1 or 2 of anything as a source.

Are there any other car hauling sites to get loads?

The sell cars on ebay, I didn't know they had loads.

I'd try uship.com and getloaded (you have to select auto or car carrier under equipment type).

Contact the seller (and buyer if possible) and let them know you're willing to move the vehicle.

IMO Central Dispatch is the front runner, ie best known Car hauling site out there. The other freight sites dont have a whole lot in the way of Autos. Other sites that I saw were www.carsarrive.com and www.movingloads.com Im not sure if either are any good, or not but maybe it helps.

I would try the large auto auction groups like Manheim, etc and start plugging your name around. Anymore with the internet, a dealer in say Chicago isnt afriad to online-bid on a car in say New York, so it may be a way to go, start advertising around these places, and or trade magazines, etc.

Some of the larger car hauler carriers also broker loads.
