White smoke(when it's not cold) is a good indication of a Turbo problem.

Good products don't sell them selves if you aren't aware of them. It's been around for 10 years but I just heard about it last July and you just heard about it yesterday. People were skeptical of electricity too.

It does not blow white smoke out when warmed up, only when starting up on a cold day.
The power loss only occurs when it is loaded and going up a hill, or incline. It is fine on level ground, or empty, and this just started this past Tuesday. Just looking for advice on what to check out to try and see where it might be at. Thanks for the advice. As for the new product, I will pass on it. I am not saying it does not work, but for me right now I am not interested. |
Fair enough. Keep an open mind and good luck. Let us know what you find out.

Wanted to let everyone know, the power loss was a very dirty air filter. Had the fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filter checked and replaced, and still no help, took it to another shop, and a mechanic walked out and said it probably was the air filter.
He told me that they had just changed an air filter on a New Dump Truck with only 12,000 miles on it, but was in real bad dusty conditions, and no one could figure out the power loss, until they checked the air filter. Changed the Air Filter and Truck is back to normal. |
That is great news. When something is difficult to find or diagnose, it is usually something simple. :P

Them filter minders are cheap and easy to mount if you put it under the hood right on the filter or pipe/hose going to the Turbo. Even my cheap ass $5k FreightShaker came with one 8) . Save money by only changing the filter when it is used up!
