Experience for local jobs.

I do not want to run OTR and pretty much every local home daily jobs want at least 3-6 months or a year of experience.

Do companies recognize running your own authority as "experience"?
Even if your just starting out and fresh out of school?

If you have your own authority they don't care about experience since you have your own liability and cargo insurance. If you have no experience then Progressive Insurance is about the only company who will give you liability insurance with a 300 mile radius restriction from your home. Cargo insurance will be the most difficult to get. Progressive will also not allow you to haul steel or coils under there policy.

You don't need to post the same thing more than once. You have responses on the other thread.
