Default how low can people get??

went to get a bite to eat.. came out side and something looked off on my truck. looked closer.. someone stole my IFTA stickers. how low can someone go?? it sure as hell was not stolen in the yard where I park.. no one knows its there. sure as hell not where I off load. not where I load, or offload again.. must have happened when I went to take a shower.. this annoys me to no end. getting stickers from NY is like pulling teeth!

That IS pretty low. It probably sounds alarmist, but did you call the authorities? Make an official report? That might help when you try to get new ones? Were there cameras? Not that those grainy things are usually worth much, so nevermind about that.
Sorry to hear it, FB.
Hopefully, though, with an incident THAT low, here's hoping the rest of your year can only get better!

not going to do anything. I have no idea where they were taken from. I stay at the same 2 places. I'm only at a truck stop to fuel and shower. that's it.

Good point-without being sure where, exactly, they were taken, no sense in drawing unwanted attention from those fellas with the rooster hats!

Last year I had IFTA stickers stolen off two of my trucks that were parked next to one another. I have no idea who might have taken them. The state did replace them. I received my new stickers for 2016 last month, but have not yet put them on the trucks. I will probably put them on before the end of the month. I have a good relationship with the people in my IFTA and IRP office. I have been doing business with them for many years. They replaced them without a problem, but it is still a hassle having to deal with it. I have parked the trucks at the same location for a number of years. I have had other things stolen and some vandalism, but this is the first time I have ever had IFTA stickers stolen. I don't see how it would benefit anyone using stickers assigned to another company.

heres my issue.. my 2016 didn't come in yet. NY state has a issue with using Mac computers to do anything on their site. of course my luck it did not go though. so I did everything over the phone last week.. so the stickers I have now are 2014.. hope they hurry up

Oooh! Respect the paint! lol Crazy Glue?? Woo...you don't play!

I had to wonder, too, just what someone would be able to do with the stickers off another person's/company's truck? Wouldn't that show up at a scale/ weigh station, traffic stop, etc? Are IFTA stickers like fake ids that someone might use elsewhere?
It's called "paranoia", and I got it bad.
Hope you get your new ones before too long. That's gotta be uncomfortable, wondering if anyone's going to give you guff about your currently outdated stickers...

You still have a Grace Period till February 29th 2016, and if you have the IFTA License in your truck, you can always show the D.O.T. Officer that and explain to him/her that the IFTA stickers were stolen.
