What's the craziest bonus you've ever heard of?

I know Omega's offering $25k for owner-operators. Owner needs drivers in a bad way, and is willing to pay for them.

Ever hear of anything like that?

Slay Trans out of st louis, tanker outfit......$15,000 sign on bonus, $625 a month for 24 months...........gotta stay 2 years to get all of it, not sure of the fine print, when the recruiter said electronic log the call was over.

This one is paid out over 90 days, mostly reefer and dry van. E-log is very much optional, with paper being the main thing used.

I hear ya on the catch. This one's got an 18 month commitment, but I'm hearing they're a pretty good outfit.

It's funny if these was for real, if they took that kind of money and invested it in their company they wouldn't need to pay that much. In this "driver shortage", we get calls every single day for a job; literally every single day. I just ordered 4 more trucks and am going to need more. Yet more and more we are creating driver bonuses and that get $1000 referral bonuses, good MPG bonuses, clean inspection bonuses etc. The ones that work the system are doing pretty well. Do things like that and you won't have to pay $25,000 sign on bonus.
