Truckersadvantage is available through OOIDA. The discounts are minimal, about $0.02 at some fuel stops but there are no transaction fees. TCH offers cash price but there are transaction fees. If you lease to a carrier many offer a discount though their fuel cards. Some have a cost plus if you buy at TA. Pilot, Petro and other stops you can save a few cents per gallon. If you run your own authority and drive the truck yourself you will probably be as well off with TCH or Truckersadvantage. In fact, you can get a PDCA card from Transportation Alliance Bank, owned by Flying J, and get the cash discounts. The disadvantage is that you don't get a summary for fuel purchases. There are few discounts available to independents that make much difference in fuel costs.

I'm still looking. I have been averaging 5000 gallons of fuel a month, I really need to get away from using Amex. Just paying the credit price is costing me $300/month.

I'm looking into Truckers B2B, CR England and Schenider's fuel discount programs. Is anyone using them or anything else?

Thanks!!!

I use Fuelman, but there's little discount in it. Sometimes I'll get a few bucks off my weekly statement.

I simply go to the the least expensive place. I usually check online at all the fuel tops along my route & check their prices before I leave, then I know where to stop. flying j usually is lowest. loves are the next competitive. i.m.o.

Default fuel discount

Try NASTC Products and Services, go to the "Quality Plus Network" tab

When I was a member I think it was $200 membership fee, credit check, $50 registration.

Pretty decent discounts, almost as good as the cost/plus program my outfit has.

Youre doing it the wrong way.
My AX made me money when i was using it as my primary fuel card before i got leased on to a carrier who has T-check card. You have to fuel at places that sell diesel same as cash, there are plenty of those around including many Lowes truck stops. My AX was giving me 5% cash back on all of my fuel purchases when I got it 4 years ago and 1% on all other. They changed it to 2% cash back for fuel and left that other 1%..
If you fuel for 500$ right now, at 1% you get 5$ back. I was getting upwards of 30$ back when they had that program of 5% cash back going on. My AX made me over 3100$ in about 4 years and i never paid interest on it as i was paying it off. I still use it for all of my purchases...

Some of the major carriers who have brokerage departments and a few of the large brokers have a fuel card that you can use to get some discounts. Schneider, Landstar and CH Robinson all have fuel cards you can use. Some factors also have their own fuel card program. Most of them have fuel discounts. The disadvantage is that you cannot load the card yourself. It must be loaded by the broker or carrier for whom you are running. Unless you have money on the card you can't use it. If there is a carrier or broker whom you primarily use for loads you may check with them to see if they have a fuel discount program.
