I know in Canada as of July 1st there is an exemption to all length laws for rear fairings(at back of trailer).

What about the US? I fired off an email asking about this to ATdynamics, and received this response:

Allan,

Our current retail TrailerTail price is $2800 per unit and sideskirts are $2000

Our TrailerTail is legal in the USA due a federal exemption for a 4 foot rear aerodynamic extension.

Please let me know if you would like any additional information.

My bad. Well worth the money, then. Definately not something you could build yourself for thousands less. :wink:
