My best friend has a moving billboard company and it seems that people dont care to advertise on semis. You know we have a stigma, noone wants to be associated with trucking but they want what we bring. I have seen Chambers of Commerce advertise on semis. I agree with your idea, I just dont know how to sell it. Good Luck.

I think the problem that is perceived with it is that if the truck is involved in a "high profile" accident that is splattered all over the news, their advertisement is getting a lot of negative publicity.

I've sen names plastered on moving trucks endorsing whomever.

Example: Midway Movers- official movers of the Chicago Bulls

I've seen a few others promoting exclusive contract with a big name sport team.

Thats more of a mutual benefit, rather than simply being paid money for someone's name on the trailer promoting whatever product, message, or service.

When I used to Pull General Mills freight out of Minnesota they always put a large Missing Children Poster on the Back of your Trailer. Great idea.
