Crossing St. lines
 

New to the forum and just had a question. I have a KYDOT# and want to purchase a trailer in OH. I always stay in state as I am in the excavation business, usually don't travel over 50 miles. I just wonder what I would have to do to run up to OH bobtail, buy this trailer and come back to KY? Since the trailer would be for my own use could I just put not for hire on the truck and be ok or would I have to go through all the federal crap? Thanks for any help!!
