Looking to get back into driving

I have about 14 years driving CDL A with triples doubles hazmat and tanker, problem is I have been out of the seat for 5 years. I have heard about TMC flatbeds, I have van refer tanker and flatbed experience. Any ideas on how to get back in? I was thinking Swift for regional runs for 6 months then find a real seat.

Being out of the drivers seat for 5 years, you will probably need to start with one of the training carriers, such as Swift, until you can get 6-12 months recent experience. You may find a smaller carrier that would work with you, but insurance can be a bear these days. Most like to see experience at lease in the last 3 years. One factor is whether you kept your CDL up to date.
