CRENGLAND physical question.

For anyone that has gone to CR for training and took there pre hire physical I wanted to ask if they 1. have you take off your shirt and 2. check for hernias.
I ask this because I have a pretty good protrusion of the belly button (called an umbilical hernia-rare but it happens) and I am concerned that they might fail me because of this.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hope they do fail you then do some research on better companys! If CRE is the best you can get then you do what you must. The physical is done by a DR or other med. pro. so most likely they would know about your condition.
Really tho, check into some other companys!

Repete is 100% correct. CRE is at the bottom of the heap as far as the major fleets are concerned. Just look @ their safersys numbers, that should scare you away!

CRE (DOT) Physical Question

Go to an independent clinic that does DOT physicals ($40 - $80). Based on those results, you'll know the answer before going to CRE or any other company. BOL

Agreed.

I agree with repete as well. IF you can pass a DOT physical on your own, then there are plenty of companies much better than CRE to talk with.

Problem is, I really don't have anywhere else to go for training for my cdl with no up front cost. I understand there are better companies than CR, but that is besides the point here. Right now all I care about is hearing from people that went to CR for their cdl and know exactly what they do as far as their physical is concerned.

In 12 years, no doctor doing my physical has ever made me take my shirt off. They usually DO have you drop your drawers for a hernia check. I concur, I would work at McDonalds before ever considering England.

In 12 years, how many times did you discuss your condition with those doctors?

We men...we tend to dismiss a lot of "stuff" when we chat with doctors.

We should all just plain refuse to drop our pants as a requirement for employment- wtf has this country turned into?
