Another Old Driver Getting Back in the Game

I've been away from driving for long enough that I'm at 4mo exp in the last 3yrs. I'm looking for local/in state and am running into some resistance. One temp outfit I've worked for in the past turned me down, saying I just need 2 more months exp to get back to the 6mo timeframe. Any tips?

Tip Number 1.....(which is free for those whom are "Rookie" status).............Tell us what part of the Global community you call home....so that our International membership can pull it's collective electronic membranes together and advice you adequately on your situation.

Any further requests for advise without providing locality, requires a $500 deposit.

It was with Pro-Drivers in Nov 2008. Flatbed <lumber or steel>, Box jockey w/liftgate delivering water. I've got an interview with Southern Tank Transport on Friday.

Is this the one?

Southern Tank Transport, Inc.

If so.......Not a bad operation. You will get plenty of work.

I was going to suggest one of the belly dump operations that are servicing the oilfields...but Southern is a good choice.

Well, my situation is changing and I'm looking at OTR... Any tips on a 11-western or western regional outfit, reefer or van? Thx
