how did we go from worrying about our image and keeping up with the other guy to going on strike????/

Tinytim you are right this board used to rock,
However now a days it seems to be a poitical forum used to bash those who do not see eye to eye. I have backed off using the board for the last month and have come back once or twice just to see what is going on and in all honesty I don't see much of a change, the same 6 to 10 regulars who post on a daily basis. The same ole, same ole. The feel of the board has changed and it just does not seem as member friendly as it has been for me over the last 6 years that I have been around.

Kevin, This is America land of the free and land of the foolish that is why so many ppl care about image, people watch tv and decide they have to be better then Joe Blow. unfortunalty this is one major con that came with the progession of the industrial age.

Actually the only image drivers / trucks have is that they are big...

and usually in the way of the 4 wheelers and people have to go around us. :)

I know threads have a tendency to go off topic, especially when the topic isn't really that clear, but how did politics and hermaphrodites and TimberWolf's drunken escapades get brought into this?:confused:

The thread was on trucker's image. Let's steer it back to that and leave the red light district stuff alone. Thanks.

this thread was never about truckers image...it was kevin doing some venting about...well..i dont know what about. he went from truckers images to going on strike to four wheelers not being treated like big trucks. not sure where timberwolf went with it..but apparently it got him banned. but i do agree with him..this board aint what it used to be. lots of polotics and the same people saying the same stuff.

I guess I try to keep a nice image. (whatever that means) I've always tried to do everything right.
Kevin, if it were me, I'd try to do what is right. Drive your truck as safe as possible. Keep yourself from getting into anything that you can't get yourself out of.
Your post looks like a full plate. I wouldn't worry about all that right now. :p
