Use Caution When Helping Arrow Drivers
I just read an article in Landline about a driver who helped a former Arrow driver. He bought 200 gallons of fuel for him to get home. OOIDA also helped him. From the article the guy has a long rap sheet and has skimmed a number of other drivers. It is important to help those who are in need. I applaud any who have helped Arrow drivers who are truly in need. But with any bad situation there will be those who take advantage. I would use caution when helping any of those who profess to be former Arrow drivers. We should expose those who are running a scam. The article suggests digging a little deeper to make sure these people are actually in need.

Thanks, GMAN. I've not yet seen an Arrow truck in our area, since they bellied up.
You can't be too careful these days. |
I saw two today, one loaded with structural steel (bet the customer is p/o'd it is this late!) one empty. They came into Wichita Falls on Hwy 277/82 and turned North on FM 369. Probably a couple that the driver's wouldn't/couldn't return them to a Freightliner dealer and either the repo man or company had found them. Who knows, maybe the driver just decided to make a few extra bucks with their truck!! LOL

I wonder what they were doing going up on 369? Maybe the prison?
