Washing the truck...

Does anyone ever get a professional wash done on the inside of the truck? I would think this would be the thing to do especially if you slip seat. Someone told me some companies have truck washing stations at their terminals. However, I am not sure if this also includes the interior.

I love taking my car to CarSpa to get the inside done, so I was wondering if there is something like this for trucks too.

If you had a bad smell in the truck or something, I would think this would be the way to go.

I've never heard of anyone that cleans the inside of a truck. That would probably be a good business, but I could just imagine what some trucks look like on the inside. :hellno:
There is a man that washes the trucks/trailers at our warehouse, but he only washes the outside.
I slipseat myself, and the daytime guys do a pretty good job keeping the trucks cleaned. We all try to do 'our part' in keeping them clean.

i had a woman offer to wash my interior the other night. she said she did just windows or a full service cleaning. i asked how much and she said she did not discuss prices on the cb. seems like a bad way to do business if she dont tell you the costs...i wonder if she got to clean anyones truck.

I imagine she's been cleaning something. :hellno:

if you drive thru Indianapolis, and go past the pilot/mr. fuel/Flyin' J on exit 4, you'll almost always hear some gal advertising to clean the interior of your truck. Sorry, dont care who it is, if i'm too lazy to clean it myself, i dont need some complete stranger inside my truck cleaning it. Who knows what they'll "forget" and leave behind.

besides, some who offer to clean the inside of your truck, i'm sure will 'offer' some other service for a fee. just an easy way to get yourself into trouble. and why? because you didnt want to spray the inside of your windows and wipe them down?

check "auto detailing" but be ready to pay $100 or more for a good interior detail and that's after you empty all your trash out

Our company has a company that comes in to clean the interior & exterior of trucks in between assigned drivers. If I had it in mind to pay out of my pocket to have the interior of my (assigned) truck cleaned I would make arrangements w/ the detail guy.

Maybe Your company can recommend someone?

I use Mobile Command Detail in Vegas once a year for 250. Professional steam clean, detail, etc etc. they come right out to the truck at the hotel and are very quick and thorough.
