Advice from the OG Truckers
Hey guys, I'm just wondering if any of you may have some advice about what companies I can apply for since I have no experience and It's really hard to get a job.
I graduated about 2 months ago from a trucking school in San Jose,CA, I have a couple of endorsements but not much experience on the road. So,if anyone knows or has a list of companies that will hire students, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your feedback:thumbsup: |
To you old school truckers here...OG means means "original gangster" as in old school, been around for a few million miles etc
To the original poster, have you even looked around here at all? This topic has been covered a LOT as of late. Fill in your location as that also helps. |
OK!
I know what OG is, there's plenty where I live, anyways anyone that can help with companies that may hire recent grads.
Thanks |
Not OG But OTD
See the "Application" button up top? There ya go. Assume your 20 is the Bay Area. BOL

Who's hiring new inexperienced drivers? Nobody! There are plenty of experienced veterans having trouble finding a driving job. Go to all the usual suspects Swift, CR England, Central, Prime, Schneider, Watkins Shepard, Werner, US Xpress, Covenant, Gordon, etc.

And, it's going to get worse as the economy goes down. I don't see any "rays' coming down through the clouds yet.
