Hov

What does the acronym HOV stand for?

For the life of me, I have pondered that for hours and haven't resolved it yet.

Please help me!

Only if you have a bale of pot in there with them.

The HOV lane is that one lane in downtown Dallas that everyone drives in, and they stay in that lane all the way till it closes. And then they expect everyone to just let them back in after it's too late. Right there in Downtown on I-30. :p

I can think of a hundred or so places (or ALL of them) where, had the HOV lane instead been designated a through truck lane, traffic would flow fastier and easier for everyone.

On a related note . . the NJ T-pike, where it splits off "CARS ONLY" AND "TRUCKS AND CARS", the latter should be updated with "TRUCKS and Cars at your own risk!"

H.O.V. = high output vehicles. only vehicles that can maintain at least 30 m.p.h over the speed limit.
