DAC question

Does your DAC ever clear out...say for instance incidents drop off after so many years ?

Thanks

I believe that DAC is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If I remember correctly, items on your DAC can stay there for up to 7 years...:roll2:

Most companies only consider your driving history for the last three years as far as safety related issues go. If you have a clean history for the last three years you would be able to get on almost anywhere.

This is correct. You have the same rights to dispute inaccurate info as you do on your credit report.

Yes...as of june 09 my report will show there has been only 1 incident in the past 3 years...

Gotta be like Kung Fu walking on rice paper for the next 5.5 months in order to mend this delima.

It depends on the entry as to how long it can and will stay on your report.

DAC will keep basic employment records (Where and when worked) for 10 years.

Safety information will drop after 3 to 7 years depending on exactly what it is.

Actually the employment history will stay on forever. States the time frame worked, type of driving, rehire yes or no. Accidents/incidents go off 7 years after the end of employment, not the date of the incident.

Since you have he same sleep disorder that I have (wait, I got mine from working with you for XX years) Run my DAC some morning while your going over your spreadsheets and see what LST put on it.

No sleep disorder, just come in at 0430 and leave at noon.(well sometimes)
Doubt i have all your info still, put a whole new system in a few years ago. Send it to me at my regular e-mail and i'll see what comes up.
