Kind of surprising knowing the whole economy and especially trucking industry is right now.But hey, someone's misfortune is somebody's else s fortune, right?

The point I was getting at is that I believe it's a FAKE!

Pretty sad that so many places are laying off or implementing hiring freezes and wage reductions and yet these trucking companies are still looking for drivers.

That's all who's hiring right now: fast food and OTR trucking. The jobs that nobody else wants.

At least they are hiring. There is nothing with working regardless of the type. Some of us like the otr work.

Do you really think that the only people who work OTR or fast food are people who can't do anything else? If you think like that, then you are the ignorant one.

You do what you have to do to survive in this world.
When I was an Excutive Chef the majority of my staff in Denver were Mexican's These guys busted Ass and worked harder then most of my american born staff, I even found the same to be true with a group of Russian workers as well. My lead cook once told me that Mexico had the best welfare system in the world.. Simply put you don't work you don't eat.... My Russian Garde manger told me that Most americans have no idea what it is like to struggle and that all they needed to do to feel her life was to spend a few winters in Siberia as she did. As a child the KGB came and put her father in jail for 4 years because he was selling milk and eggs to the towns people to generate extra income.
We have it easy in this country and we should be thankful for it...
Work is work no matter what you have to do for your family... Priorities......

He has proven that with every post that he makes. He couldn't cut it because his mommy wasn't around to tuck him into bed at night and now he thinks anyone who runs OTR is the scum of the earth. I've been doing this for 22yrs and close to 4mil miles and I wouldn't want to do anything else, I also wouldn't want to drive for a McMega carrier but I surely don't begrudge those that do, and hope like me they inspire to get their time in and one day learn the buisness and move onto something where they have a little more control over things.
