1st year report
I completed my 1st year of truck driving on 10/31/08. Here's a breakdown:
1. No accidents. 2. 1 ticket (5/12/08, Speeding, 70/60) :pissedoff: 3. A couple minor backing incidents. :eek2: 4. Changed companies once. Started with Baylor Trucking 10/28/07, been with my current company since 1/23/08. 5. YTD gross earnings with my current company $43K. Overall, I am happy with the decision I made to become a truck driver. I like my job and make a decent living. |
Impossible. 3 out of 4 trucking experts say you only make 30k your first year.:bs:

well if you have another year like that with another ticket and a couple of more accidents, you'll be changing tires

As for the backing incidents what can I say. You live and learn. They each caused very little or no damage. I always GOAL now. |

:lol::lol: The only thing that sucks is that when you work harder and longer Uncle Sam wants a bigger chunk of your check. :pissedoff: |
