The DOT# on the door might be different, but the game is the same. Not a damn thing's changed Hurry up and wait Wait and hurry up Hot load..run run run grab a back door and let's go Sorry driver, no load, freight's slow But I told you I wanted to be home this weekend! Shower #1110 is now ready. Sorry driver, no overnite parking Weekend dispatch warriors Those wheels don't turn, you don't eat |

you change jobs more often than I change my underwear  hope this one works out for you. |

Must not change those shorts very often then...since I've only had 2 OTR employers in 4 years ....dang that's nasty man. I'm getting myself a lap top so I can use free time to get core courses done for school ... The issue with most warehouse jobs here in Colorado that pay well is they are all going 3rd party contractor ,so you benefits suck and job stability is poor...Right now I have a job with one of these 3rd party cotracts at Coors GDC in golden,co it pays 14hr...I'm loading trailers Iwas offered a hostling job at 18hr ....But the contract holder has changed 3x in 5.5years and so has...pay...health plan ,so there is little stability to the job ...not to mention it's a 90mile round trip from bailey,co -golden and back daily ... I'll give ConWay/CFI 6 months if it don't work out I'll settle on a job at the GDC as a hostler . |
I hope that it all works out for you Big Jeep. You certainly deserve a break, that's for sure. BOL

not to mention it's a 90mile round trip from bailey,co -golden and back daily , Yep the old saying was pray for me I drive 285, I can only imagine what it is like now with all the transplants that have ended up in Colorado. Back in 82/84 I used to make weekly drives from Evergreen to Grand Junction, looking back on it I miss those drives, my favorite part was the Glenwood canyon when I 70 was only two lanes and you would run right next to the river now you barley see the river, I 70 also used to go right through downtown parachute again only two lanes for 50 miles or so. and this time of year the Western slope apples and peaches are coming in season. Damn I miss Colorado... timberwolf |

12 years ago most of 285 was 2 way road ,and tons of accidents from poor passing...but most of the trip is new 4 lane highway now...BIG improvent and pretty smooth drivng ...And yes Colorado in my opinion has some of the most congeial weather around ,as well tons of 4 wheeling trails |

It's ok to lie, just not under oath |
4 wheeling ah yes, Living in Bailey I am sure you have done Red Cone, My first time over it was in 1987 in my 84 CJ the last week of June and while on top we had a good ten minutes of snow conditions it was amazing going over the top heading down with out any real clear visabiltiy and not knowing the trail. going over the top of Red Cone gives new meaning to balls of steel.
That is one of my favorite 4 wheel drive trails, right up there with Black Bear and Imogene down in Ourray/Telluride area. Stoney pass is also a blast a good 20 miles of trail passing over the Rio Grand head waters. Then you have the Argentine trails which are fairly close to Bailey, I can go on and on about 4 wheeling in Colorado since I began doing it way back in my Idaho Springs High School days ah some thing like 1978 I think>>>>... Again I am getting home sick.... Good luck with your job. Timberwolf |
