You can also do a search here on the forums for "CoPilot" if you're interested in a laptop (software) based GPS system.

Trucker GPS

Somehow I have a feelin' the satellites don't care whether a user is a trucker or a Tomahawk missile. BOL

Garmin Nuvi series 350 and up have truck routes. But still verify route against map as they are not perfect and deteriorate rapidly if you get off route. To the point of telling you to do a u turn on a one way street.

Here's a site that offers alot of "upgrades" for GPSr. They have low claearences, weigh stations, truck stops, etc.

JImbo, my garmin c340 (older model) has the option to select "Truck" for the type of vehicle also, but I quickly learned that it doesnt mean the kind of truck that has 18 wheels! WHich is kind of stupid why they even put it on there in the first place. Might as well pick motorcycle :x

Does the Nuvi series you speak of specificly mean 18-wheeler??
If so, I MAY upgrade...

Yes the 350 does Truck Routes as well as a
truck icon.
