Somewhat related (and I'd actually forgotten until you posted about that, BC), when I used to drive tow trucks years ago, I got a call to come out one night and pick up a car on the Thruway. It was a Dodge minivan, and when I got to it, it turned out that it was a van from a funeral home, on the way back from making a pickup out of town. So there was a stiff in the back. In a body bag. It must've been prepared, but moving the van around to get it onto the flatbed was one of the creepier experiences I've had.

I pull a flatbed and for the record we mainly haul building supplies and things of that nature. I had a pick-up in St. Georges,DL and delivering to Dade City,FL. When I arrived for my pick-up I noticed that it was located at a cemetery. The forklift driver comes out of a shed with burial chamber vaults (8 vaults).

I looked at him and asked if he was going to put those on my trailer. He laughed and said yes, but there are not any bodies inside. Later on that night when I pulled into a rest area I was constantly looking out of my mirrors checking for any movement from the vaults. I guess I was a little paranoid, but I eventually got over the whole ordeal.

I hauled a load of ice cream from San Diego to Salt Lake City once. The Customs Checkpoint officer asked me what was in the back. I told him the reefer was set for -10 so it is either ice cream or frozen illegals.

We both laughed.

Stuffed toys going to Circus Circus Reno, loaded in open top cardboard boxes not on pallets, filling 1/4 of my trailer up. I wanted to refuse it, dispatch told me to take it anyway.. Lets ust say our warehouse was pissed when that load got there to be placed on pallets for the rest of the trip, toys skattered everywhere in the 53" trailer.. lol
