Trick: when tired of waiting--call or send them a message like: cell phone # is xxxxxx. going to the mall. will be out of truck 1 hr, etc.
Watch the qualcom light up--with something to do suddenly out of the blue-
they can't stand YOU not waiting on pins and needles- the ideal that YOU might find more important things to do with YOUR time drives them crazy.

hate to tell ya this, but this is alot of what truckin is .... dispatch tells you the load is 'hot' ... you push the speed limit because each mile is money ... once you arrive at your delivery the dock sup tells you ... that load can't be unloaded until tomorrow ... Welcome to truckin .. :D :wink:

This is probably why guys are more prevelant in trucking than women: we're used to this kind of behaviour from years of dating, marrying, and divorcing women.
