whats a v-22?
 

Swift gave me a v-22 while i was in training, what does this mean ,does it just ruin me with Swift or in trucking forever.

what exactly is the V-22? as far as i know its part of the software system. i wasnt aware that it was anything like a writeup or a bad thing, also the V-22 is also a military aircraft. OSPREY.

with swift the v-22 also interacts with the kiosk system. to interact with human rescources.

anyway. i am prepared to be enlightened. :)

Have you asked them what it means? Just for your own good, I would ask them to tell you exactly what that means. Layman's Terms, I believe it what it's called.
I would say, "Hey guys, I am a trucker, what does this mean in English?" :P :lol:

On a more serious side note, I hope that it doesnt mean anything bad. Hope all works out great for ya.

They said it means a abandoned a load, my trianer was such a jackhole, when they got me within 30 miles of my home, I greydogged it on back to the house, so they said they v-22ed me to DAC. Hey my trainer kept telling me he wore the cape, he was superman, it's his truck...works for me, go on with your bad self and try to figure out how to get to tallahassee from lakeland then to north of Atlanta when your out of hours big man, after all you wear the Cape. Swift said they are done with me, which is fine by me, but does this mean I can't go anywhere else?... they could neither confirm or deny that.

Abandoning a load is a pretty bad thing to have on your DAC, I know that much.

Will you have a problem finding work? Probably, as the vast majority of large carriers use DAC and also share information amongst themselves. However, your DAC is like your credit report, you have a right to dispute information that is placed in there and you can also add your side of the story to it as well.

by rights if you was with a trainer, then the trainer is responsible for all that. rightfully they cannot ding you for an abandoned load if you wasnt first seat. trainer truck, trainer responsible. thats my opinion, but i know when i was training for swift, i was and agreed to be responsible for everything having to do with my trainee's in the end.


if they are calling this abandoned load, and placed that on your dac i would fight that tooth and nail.

The way I understand things, you'll have a very tough time finding a job with that on your DAC....

I agree with Rokk. It should be upon the trainer, and not you.
I would fight it. I would explain everything in writing.

Every trucking company knows that Dac is billshi* and I dont know anyone that has been denied a job b/c of a DAC report. This industry needs people and they're not going to turn away a possibly qualified applicant to fill a much needed seat b/c of some rotton company's opinion. www.dacfix.com

DAC is just a job history reporting tool. It is worth far more in rapidly expediting qualified applicants than the issues that a few drivers complain about.

However, if the driver abandoned a truck, then he's not going to be qualified for a lot of trucking companies.

They do nothing more than put a rebuttal on a dac report, charging you a pretty penny to do something that you can do yourself for free.

That is where I would actually have to agree with you. If he was a team driver or a trainee, I think the only thing they can do is hit him with "Left Truck With Team Driver", which is no big deal. If they hit him with an abandonment, he shouldn't have any problems at all fighting that one.
