Yep, random IS random. I got one in the first year ( about 6 months in ) and then nothing for about a year. Then all of a sudden two back to back ( about 1 month apart ) then nothing for another year. From the best of my understanding it is computer controled.

I think I have done 4 or 5 "randoms" this year, 2 were after pulling an overnight and barely legal run, and another upon my return from hometime.
