accident record

just wondering where would you go to get your report of accident?

You would have to contact whatever police or highway patrol that took the report.

If you are wanting a copy of the actual police report then pretty much greg is right on the money. In some states, accident reports made by the state police are filed with either the city or county police department in which the accident occured in.

If you were convicted of a violation due to the accident and just need the date of the conviction then you can usually get that from you MVR report which can be gotten at the DMV.

oops maybe I should add I talking about a small car accident(4 years ago) not a truck rig. It was like $400 at the most. I'm filling out application's. Do I just call my auto insurance?

You shouldn't need a copy of the report for a job application just the date and a description.
