Your favorite Truck Stop, or Stop Chain

Where as I am just waiting for school to start, I have driven cross country more times than I can count. Yeah I'm the freind that is notorious for jumping in the car and seeing where the road goes, I blame my dad  and after 37 years on the earth I decided that it is time that I do something that I really love doing. Driving, yes I know that it is different than jumping in the car and driving, you have more responsibilities, but I love driving and when I meantioned to my wife her response was "It's about time, I was wondering when this was going to dawn on you", but anyway, for me personally I enjoy the Flying J's, have never had a bad meal, always was able to find what I needed and I must say there cashiers are even nice without attitude, so if they are going to treat a four wheeler with respect, then I can only imagine how they treat the professionals. Well anyway chime in with who and or where

Later guys

Well if I had to pick a chain stop, I'd pick Flying J. I avoid T/A like the plague with all that idiotic idle aire stuff,no parking ,cruddy food and filthy facilities and I avoid Pilot except for fuel. There is never any parking at Pilot at anytime and only populated with the lower down of society. For the most part I only go to "mom and pops" and to which "mom and pops" I go to ....well thats my secret. :D

Oh sure, actually I stopped off at a private truck stop in Arizona I believe about ten years that had real tigers, bengal and snow, that was the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had, sorry that is my meal of choice at truck stops, you know you can tell alot by their biscuits and gray :D

No reason to blame your dad here, Mezagog!!

You are getting started off on the wrong foot, and you need to deal with that BEFORE you become a driver.

Before you go to work for ANY company, no matter how much it pays, how nice their trucks are, regardless of hometime, or how good the people at the company are, you need to accept one very important reality.

THE ROAD DOESN'T GO ANYWHERE!!
IT STAYS RIGHT WHERE IT IS!!

As a driver, this will be of real benefit to you, as you will have the peace of mind in knowing that the road will still be there when you need it again!!

BOL2U!!

But I enjoy most flying hooks, except the ones out west(UT'WA'MT and KC)

Never ever stop at a TA. They are very bad and smell of urine.

Not everyone likes Flyin J, but I used to stop there a lot. I also liked Petro, and T and A. :P

I used to stop at the Petro on Ranger Hill. I liked that one.

Im not a driver, but when traveling, my favorite truckstop is Carls Corner, North of hillsboro tx, on i-35. Not too long ago, I went in there with my family and Willie Nelson was there. He sat down with us while we ate and talked with us for about an hour. Right now its closed for renovation and remodling and will open back up with a huge addition called "willies place" Personally, I thought the truck stop had more charm and charector when it was kind of run down and dirty. But I guess we will see how much better it is.

I really like Williams, then pilot bought them out and ruined them.
