OTR experience

Whats the deal with this OTR exp. Ive had my class A cdl for about 9 yrs.Ive pulled all different types of trailers and loads but all within Florida mainly . I have drove OTR but with a F-650 and a 25' Gooseneck trailer which isnt good enough,so how is a recent graduate able to get a job just about anywhere with NO exp but in a controlled enviroment but i have NO chance??? Doesnt it seem that a driver with exp. would be safer and have a better idea then a graduate??? Any thoughts on this one ?? It really gets me.

OTR Experience

"recent graduate able to get a job just about anywhere with NO exp" Because they go, in most cases, with the entry level companies. Your beef is not with the hirer, it's with their insurer. BOL

FL is a black-hole for careers (for ANY industry). It lures you, sucks you in, and then spits you out. Unemployment is below poverty level and so are the jobs available. Its a Republican dream land. The trick is not to hang around and get out as quick as you can. If we all stomp rapidly together, we can make this sand bar sink below sea level :)

Yeah, Florida is a "right to work state" and there are 10 people waiting for your job when you get tired of it.
