I have a few customers who want me to blow off at 8-10 p.s.i. as well. What I have found is if I talk to most of them, what they are really looking to accomplish is to minimise dust from the bag house. Once I discuss it with them and tell them I will watch for dust, they usually let me do my normal thing which is to blow off at 12-14 p.s.i. as long as I control dust they are happy and so am I.
