I don't think that anniversary counts. I'm not using that date or my hire date or my time with my trainer. I will use the date I was assigned my truck.

Use whatever date you want - I see guys with 9 years making poor decisions - and guys with less than 30k miles making the roght ones - in the end it's how you drive and not how long you drive.

Congrats on getting that year down - no matter how you measure it.

Some say that you are a rookie until you legally log your first 1 million accident free miles in a big truck.

I was working for the company for 2 years before I got my class A my first tractor was assigned to me in January 2006. I became the yardjockey when they got rid of the 33K LBS truck and replaced it with a non CDL truck. they gave me the choice. cut in pay or get my class A and a raise

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but I wouldn't count the date I got my CDL. Your circumstances seem to be different than my own. I will count Feb 23, 2007 as my anniversary date, not way back in October.

Maybe you should call Claire B Lang. She enjoys ripping off the rookie stripe! :P :lol:
