specialty hauling

What kind of money is there to me made from what I'm calling specialty hauling?:

cattle
fuel
construction
lowboy

I'm guessing there is better pay in this but lower demand?

Thanks

Anthony

cattle pays about the same as reefer the complaint is they friggin stink same with hogs., fuel as a tanker yanker would say the money is ok construction, if running floats, your normally paid by the hour, and remember in alot of cases now days u need to be licenced to operate whatever your hauling (ie.. heavy equipmetn certificate for loaders, backhoes, excavators). and skateboards, they pay about the same as vans, and your options of getting more and diffrent types of loads are interesting.

what would be considered specialy loads would be hauling say 60+ ton floats, and oversize loads, and my home town right now has 20 some loads like that, all windmill stuff, the loads are approx 15 ft wide, 100 ft long, and need a complete police excort to haul those things across canada, those jobs pay the best. but there is a big time shortage of jobs, just think about this for a second.... you get say 3$ a mile, and only 2-3 jobs a yr..... just shows ya that u will be pulling flatbed the rest of the yr.

Going into some sysco They need to be paid 5.00 per mile, lol.. The one in Philly, is the hardest to get into backing to the dock. least on the dry goods side.

The only 2 SYSCO warehouses that I've been to, is ours, and SYSCO Dallas. SYSCO Dallas is a monster. There is plenty of room to get around there. Ours is smaller, but it's wide open between the dry warehouse, and the cooler warehouse. Plenty enough room to turn a set of wiggle wagons around, even with trailers in the parking lanes in the center of the lot.
I have heard that some are pretty tight.

YEs Reason I said SOme, The one in Philly you have to back into a building blind sided then back into the door which is very tight .

When I was backing, I had a feeling to stop and look again. WHen I walk to the back ot the trailer I was inches from hittting another trialer. So I got back there no other problems. A warner came in Hit another trailer, then when pulling up clipped the corner of te building and busting a tire. He went and parked the truck and walked away and sat on the curb and started to ball his eyes out. That place broke him. Things do happen..
