How does it work for Transort America on bring the truck home during home time. I am able to park the tractor but not the trailer. Any info from other Transport America drivers would be appreciated.

This is one of the company prehires I have.

Do you have some place nearby that you could drop the trailer at?

A few words of advice about dropping trailers during home time.

Do not ever drop a trailer with a load on it unless it is authorized by your company.

Buy yourself a very good king pin lock and use it when dropping your trailer.

Make sure you have the property owner's permission to drop a trailer and/or park your truck there.

Make sure the ground you are parking on and/or dropping a trailer on will support the weight of the trailer in all weather situations.

Thanks for the info. I lve just outside of an idustrial park and I will speak with some of the companys to get permission. My driveway has room for the tractor just not the trailer also.

The company I'm going to speak with is just behind my back yard. They have some empty space there.
