truck driver training at Johnston Community College

Hi Board thanks for all the great information just wondering if anyone had attended or knew anything about the truck driver training program at Johnston County Community College in Smithfield NC. Got my choices narrowed down to JCC and the Sage program at Isothermal CC in Spindale.
Thanks
Cole :?:

Thanks have you been driving since then? Only time I ever stop in Smithfield or Selma though is to visit relatives. I started looking into that school because the cost was sooooo much less than the other program over in spindale.
Take it Easy

Just got back in to driving about two years ago, 30 years Nuclear Power, it is longer they actually teach you things not like what I hear about some of the other places. Some of the others just teach you how to accually dirve the truck, one of the easyest parts of bring a driver. JCC teaches all aspects of the business from hook up to paper work. I talked to a young driver this week that "graduaited" from one of the "trucking" schools....he was never taught the proper way too hook into a trailer, everyone has their own way but you have to know the basics !!! Also the cost is a major plus, I would vote JCC.
Again best of luck,
David
