Howdy:

The past number of months I have been a small participant on this site but have been a really big reader of the info. I just want to thank everyone who has and will be participating in sharing information about the industry here.... you guys and gals are CLASS A, Number ONE in my book. You guided me through the mess of deciphering what school to choose and what companies to investigate etc. It was something that I did not feel alone in. I got my CDL, passed the skills the second time... and am on my way to a brand new career. And for this I say a REALLY BIG THANK YOU to you all.

WHo did you wind up going too?

I wound up going with May Trucking.... they are just up the road a piece and have a pretty good reputation.... I start Orientation on Monday....

I've been reading the forum for about 3 days, and I have gotten more good info than in my previous 3 weeks of web research.

It's a great resource to be able to get the REAL info about what is going on with the different companies, and what life on the road is really like.

Thanks a million from a potential future Class A driver.

Welcome to May. I've been with them since the end of Dec. As far as OTR goes, they're a good choice. You won't be impressed with their terminals much but like truckstops, I spend the absolute minimum time I can in one. I'll be home through Monday but will check this b4 I leave out again so if you have any questions send me a PM, I'll do my best to answer.

Buy time I get all my ducks in a row I should be fairly safe from the cannibal firms.

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU SIR! This is a CRAZY profession you have chosen but I wouldn't give up my truck for anything else!
