The best two would be Verizon and Sprint. If you you shop around you can get a free card and unlimited use for $49 month with a two year agreement. Although I've heard Verizon isn't a true unlimited. If you start downloading allot of video and get your bandwidth use too high, they'll cut you lose. Cingular has a much cheaper plan, but from what I understand, it is a much slower service and has many more dead spots.
Wi-fi is also available at almost every truck stop(quality is very questionable), some rest areas, all McDonald's, and if you get close enough to most hotels you can sometimes log onto there system if it is not password protected. |
Sprint broadband card.

i used verizon. liked it very much.

i've been very happy with sprint. I use the 6700 pc-phone and only been unable to surf the net in a few places in the 26 or so states i've been thru so far.

Access/ISP
There's a didfference between the means to communicate to the Internet and an ISP. BOL

I use Cingular. I think after rebates I paid like $20 for the card and I pay I think $59 a month plus tax so it's usually 70 something. I am connected most everywhere though if you are not in a major area it's like dial-up I'm in Rhode Island now (freezing) and it's very fast. Connection speed of 593.5 kbps but it seems faster. And yes it's unlimited usage.
