It is a non-moving violation so it will not show up on your lisc.

Ticket Question
Sounds like you deserved it. You're telling us you don't know the admin status of your truck? What other tax documents like IFTA, cab cards, registration (truck/trailer), etc., aren't up to date? Your Oregon ticket could've been avoided if you would've told the counter person at the Oregon POE you needed a new tax certificate. BOL

it turns out ALL my permits are expired. if they went over the need to check your permits at swft driving school I don't recall it, nor did my mentor go over it with me.
honestly, I would think that this type of thing would be handled via the qualcom, a message or something saying 'such and such permit is about to expire'. oh we'll, experience is the best teacher and in my case the most expensive ! |

You learned a good lesson the hard way.
Try to get in the habit of checking all your permits at the start of every month, and make a list of any permits that will expire within the next 30 days then get to work getting them updated. While most permits expire either in June or December there are a few oddballs that expire at other times. |
