Question about riding with trainer...

When you have a trainer with you when you're learning to drive, does the trainer drive when your asleep? Surely you don't sleep in the same bed back there...

(There was a topic about this a while back; the trainer made some remark about them sleeping together and the student got offended)

I'm still offended by that big azz picture you refuse to down size. I'd rather sleep with the trainer then keep looking at that.

One would hope that to be an effective trainer he would be awake to train you while your driving. At least the first week or so.....then you get the top bunk and he gets the bottom.

If he hands you the keys and then takes a nap on Day 1, Week 1, I would not be a happy trainee.

Douglas,
Some trainers do sleep while the trainee drives (bad practice),...why the company that is providing the training accepts this practice,...I'll never know.
On the same note, some companies do not allow the trainer to sleep while the trainee drives (good practice),...in this instance, there will be two beds for the two people.
I have never heard of any company that forces trainer/trainee to sleep in the same bed at the same time.
Good luck, I hope this helps

Until later in the training when he is driving and your trying to sleep. you will not be in the top bunk then...unless your tied down with straps...LOL
