Hello,Sir. :P I dont know a whole lot about Maverick, but I see lots of their trucks in west Texas.(Lubbock,Abilene) If you have been accepted, and you feel good about going,I would go. There are several Maverick drivers here on the board, and everything they say,is good. Good Luck.

Hey SIR CHARLES,

I sent you a pm explaining the lift testing. They seem to be a little secretive about the agility testing for some reason, so I generally just explain it in pm.

Your estimate of being gone for 2 months to get started is pretty accurate. It varies a little depending on the person and length of training, but I'd guess that 8-10 weeks total is a pretty good estimate.

When they call you to finalize the start date, they will give you a list of items to bring with you.

Arky,

I have been on the list for a while now and it looks as if I might be going in around mid Feb if I choose to go w/ them. At this time I am trying to decide between Mav and TMC. Do y"all have any goods and bads between the two? I have yet to here about the lift test.......Could you give me a few details please?

Sir Charles,

I am located near Stephenville, Tx.....Stay in touch and let me know when you get the call......

You've got a pm.

You'll not regret going with Maverick. I talk to TMC drivers all the time out on the road and I'm not a bit dissappointed in my decision to go with Maverick over TMC. I do believe that it's a toss up between the two,but I had my reasons for choosing Maverick and now I know I made the right choice.

I've pretty much have my mind set on Mav. I have alot of patience so waiting is not a problem i did my share of waiting in the ARMY. I had a plan and all is well so far. You know when u just have that feeling about something that's why i'm choosing Maverick. I done my homework shopping around and i like what i see . This is my oppurtunity and i'm taking it . Thanks 4 all the input all the way across this board!!!
