Don't feel bad driver. At least you where not jackknifed! Been there done that (Yeah I was stupid for doing 60 on a sheet of ice in the middle of a windy valley). At least I was able to recover!

I used to hit that luv's all the time when I was knight, and I always wondered what was going to happen in winter there. That is one nasty parking lot, and the little street you turn to get into it is not much better.

As for the accidents, it was only a matter of time. You must make a left turn from the T/S onto the main road to go back to the freeway. It is very difficult to gauge the traffic coming at you on the right as there is a curve in the road on top of a little hill with a 45 MPH speed limit. I hope they get smart and put a signal there.
