Baltimore Area

Making a drop in Baltimore for the first time in a long time and wanted to know which of the bridges/tunnels were legal for trucks? Specifically, the f
Fort McHenry tunnel, the Harbor tunnel, and the Francis Scott Key bridge?
My drop is at Ex 59 off of 95 and I don't want to run the belt all the way around the city. thanks

If I remember correctly, unless you are hauling hazmat none of the tunnels or bridges in that area are restricted.

If they are you MC atlas will list it in the front of the book.

You can run I-95 without any problems. I have run that area quite a bit and have never had any problems. You will need to go around if you are over width.

Correct...I-895 (Harbor Tunnel Thruway) restricts or prohibits hazardous materials and has width and doubles restrictions.

Both tunnels are HAZMAT restricted. The Ft McHenry tunnel is the best way if not HAZMAT. Harbor tunnel is narrow! If traveling during rush hours, tune to 93.1 for traffic every 10 min. BOL

Ft. McHenry.... 8) What's the toll rate there now? ...anyone know? Last I went through it was $8.00.

It is still $8.
