Truck driver slang

A few slang words that might help you guys out:

Chicken coop : Weigh scale

Super coop : Weigh scale with garage for full on inspection

Full Grown, Bear : Usually a state trooper

Choke n puke : restaurant

Pickle Park : Truck stop, use your imagination

Disco lights : lights on top of cop car, full blazin

Meatwagon : Ambulance

Camel : Slow mover

Gater : Blown truck tire on the road

Four wheeler : car/pickup with 4 wheels

Ghost car : unmarked cop car

Lot Lizard : Truck stop prostitute

Rhubarb : The ditch "that car just hit the rhubarb"

Brake check : stopped traffic in front of you, usually on the interstate

Hammer down : Go fast

Hammer lane : fast lane, left lane

Granny lane : slow lane, right lane

Parking lot : commercial vehicle that hauls cars/trucks

Yardstick : Mile markers on the side of the interstate

Some are painfully obvious, but you never know!

city kitty : local pd
county mounty : local sheriffs dept
"they're shooting you right in the face" or "he's got his gun pointed at your windshield" meaning the Radar Gun is being pointed directly at your truck as you are approaching

rhubarb is pretty common up here.

I always thought pickle park was a truck stop, I've been wrong many times before!

"Granny lane: slow lane, right lane" Can also be the truck lane going up a mountain or long hill.
"Chicken coop/Super coop": can be a POE in the west.
"Gater" that would be 'gator, as in alligator due to the resemblance of the gator's hide and a truck tire tread.
"local yokel/city kitty": town cop
"county mountie": sheriff
"skateboard": flatbed
"rollin' refinery" pertoleum tanker
