Pulling a reefer is not that big of a deal. A little more awareness about your commodity sure. Follow the shippers instructions. The reefers nowdays are so much more high-tech than when I started out. Just don't freeze a produce load and don't thaw out a frozen load and you'll be alright. It's common sense. If you don't have any then by all means don't pull a reefer. But thats not to say theres not drivers out there pulling reefers with no common sense.

Tip For The Day: If you haul fresh chicken (aka:chicken hauler) or fresh fish, you'll obviously need to get your reefer washed out once you empty out and before you pick up your next load. Get it washed out and then either buy a small can of fresh coffee grounds or a can of cinnamin and sprinkle it inside your trailer on the floor from front to back and that will take care of any nasty smell and your next customer won't gag when they roll into your trailer with a high-lo and refuse to load you because your trailer smells like the outhouse door on a tuna boat.
